Less than a pound each I'd guess... and yes the stuff is really really tough, specially in this application backed by metal tubing... We beat the crap out of our skids on the Rubicon this weekend and they look just like they did before we left

I believe that this is the future and this stuff will replace aluminum for protection.
David did an awsome job on those bends, the last set looks great with the compound bends in it.

Kevlar: I think a little more finesse and he would've been fine. He was slamming it pretty hard. The width wasnt really a problem at all.
