Default Pocket Camera

OK, what's in your pocket? Our Canon is on it's last leg, looking for something that takes decent pix but fits in your pocket for rides n stuff. I like a viewfinder if possible as LCD's get washed out on bright desert days but this old dog can adapt.

I bought a Nikon AW100 (or something,Ike that) waterproof to something like15 feet, shockproof and has GPS built in so when I load pics on to my MacBook I can pull up a map and see where they were taken. Bought it at Costco for around $300.

Scotty, Technology keeps improving, and your getting older. Just go back to same type of camera your high school pictures were taken with son.

I like the camera in my cell, 8 mega pixel, lots of options with built in editing software, all pics go to my 32 gig memory card....One device is what i wanted.....

We have a small Nikon Cool Pix, 10 MP, works fine for a small camera, battery lasts a long time, thats nice.

Olympus Stylus Tough. We have been very happy with it. Under water, In the sand and dust, or In low light around the campfire.
They start at about $150 I have the 6020 that goes for about $250

I have a Nikon Coolpix water/dust proof which is very small, has a viewfinder and display. Thing works great, handled the river float for hours sitting in the water.
