Ok need more help! This is so fucking crazy with everything that is happening to me!
Now the bike won't start. I had it running the other day no problem. Rode it all over Mammoth, ran fine! Gas is not old.
Starter is cranking but there is no "sound" like it is even about to start.
Things I checked.......
Petcock only moves fuel when bike is running when in the "on" position. Free flow when in "Prime" position. There is no "off" position. I turned it to Prime and it made no difference.

The fuses are fine, I found 3 by the battery, are there more?

When trying to start it, even if I give it a little throttle there is no change in the sound, so I am thinking its not getting fuel? Since choke and Prime also make no difference. What do you guys think?

This is so crazy, it was running great. Need this black cloud over my head to go away!!!

check if you have spark, can take the plug out, plug it in to wire, put plug next to engine and crank over to see if you get spark, if you do.......

then I would guess the valves need to be adjusted.

X2 except the valves part. I doubt it went from running great to nothing overnight because the valves are out of adjustment, unless a valve is stuck or something is damaged in the valvetrain. I'd start with spark though...

DRZ/LTZ 400 motors are known for the valves becoming soft and receeding. When they receed they will not close and you can not build compression.

Just saying.

And can this happen over night too? If this is a valve/engine issue I will shit!!!

Its just killing me how everything is just happening out of the blue! Even the truck, no warning just boom, done! Not a happy camper right now, life is sucking big time.

Oh and to pull the spark plug I gotta pull the gas tank off, thats just great too
