I switched to 2 wheels and am so glad I did, I can do 40 mile ride on my bike and feel great, 40 on my quad and my body feels like shit. I so much more enjoy the 2 wheels too, mainly because I still do a lot of "open" riding and can cross over things a lot easier with a bike then a quad.

I picked up a plated dual sport about 7 months ago, mainly so I can ride more "plated" trails. Then we have the jeep too. Plans for the future are to just do a Moho with a bike on the rack and tow the Jeep.

Motorhome with bike rack + jeep is cool.

Funny how we made fun of that setup not too long ago, but i guess its inevitable that there will be a set of 2 way radio's in your future....

" I said LEFT.....not your LEFT, mine!!"

Martini's and a nice cracker selection while ya relax and watch the grandkids....

I'm still not doing the two way radio, at least while riding, I don't want anyone else in my head. One of the main reasons I like to ride is the freedom and serenity of being by yourself while rolling, but also doing something with my family and friends. Plus if your talking while you're riding, what are you going to talk about when you make the routine beer stop.

After much deliberating Barbara and I decided it is premature to sell the bikes..... thanks for the input guys. It really did factor into our decision after reading other folks dirt biking experiences.

Good choice. You and Barbara ride quite well. Dirt bikes for the win!

You know, last year he was going to sell his quads after Oregon dunes. This year it was the bikes... Next year, who knows he might be thinking about selling the RV.

I think it's a cry for adult attention and conversation. He is surrounded with grade schoolers all day long. Last trip to Rasor I caught Roger talking to a rock. Quite sad actually but as I passed by it was worse than I thought as he was answering for the rock.

I think an intervention is in order that calls for more riding, excessive alcohol, copious amount of charred animal flesh and friends over 10.

Agreed.... you should have seen me in my MC road riding days. It drove Barbara nuts... a new (different) bike every other year or so. Loving the Ragen though... it's got at least a couple more years of life in her! ;-)

Just remember; he who dies with the most toys is still dead.
