Got a Recall in the mail saying the Lighting on the outside is lacking Ca Codes..........Anyone else ??

I think they are recalling them because of the light output. They are installing HID's in their place so you can see to fix shit when it breaks or falls off when you are out in the dez.

Funny stuff

Got it also, looked at my trailer last night. Near as I could figure, no running lights on top of sides.

Maybe they can fix bob's fuel station while there in there

I am not going to do it, unless WW wants to come pick it up............They are saying 4-5 days shop time.........Drive to Perris.........Then go Pick it up.

does it specify clearence lights ?
or tail lights ?

Seems odd that after all this time it would come up.

CERTAIN RECREATIONAL TRAILERS DO NOT CONFORM TO THE LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, 'LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.' AMBER INTERMEDIATE SIDE MARKER LAMPS AND REFLEX REFLECTORS IN VEHICLES LONGER THAN 30' IN OVERALL LENGTH WERE MISSING. ALSO THE ABSENCE OF THE REAR IDENTIFICATION LAMPS IN VEHICLES OVER 80" IN OVERALL WIDTH.

Consequence Summary:
WITHOUT THIS LIGHTING, AND PARTICULARLY, DURING NIGHT DRIVING CONDITIONS OR WHILE THE TRAILER IS PARKED, OTHER VEHICLES MAY NOT SEE A TRAILER, THEREBY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Corrective Summary:
WEEKEND WARRIOR OR AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WILL ADD THE MISSING EQUIPMENT TO ENHANCE VISIBILITY. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WEEKEND WARRIOR AT 1-800-500-9914.
