think I have all the small shit done, water ran, electrical, LV and AC, gas lines ran, cut outs down so started laying out the plywood for the top. Will finish it up tomorrow hopefully and looking at pouring concrete on Friday.

looks better in the picture, plywood and particle board up close, looks crappy.

Anyways, all formed up, top is glued/screwed and level. Most of the re-bar and mesh is in place. Just need to make the sink insert since it the concrete is being poured over and and electrical box/faucet insert set. Plan is to finish up everything tomorrow and pour Sat. morn. Wish me luck.

poured saturday morning, had Ang, Cory and Jason come over and help out. We were done by about 1030, took a while to setup and put a box fan on the shaded area to help out. Threw a blue tarp up at the eves to shade during the day and some plastic over the concrete to keep moisture in. Gotta wait at least a week before pulling forms, guess I'll wait till next monday after we get back from Sacred Rock then off to sanding/polishing.

forms pulled and all looks good and tight. some small cracks hear and there, mostly on the face, that was my fault for using the melamine for the drop, water made it swell and drop a bit, but all is tight and hard.

sanded the face a bit, like the look and color

time to do some sanding.

yesterday I hit it with 50,100,200,400 and then 800 grit disc, here's how it looks now, still a little wet and will lighten up a bit, but plan to stain it and get it a bit darker and seal it with a wet look sealer.
