Soo.... had a blast on the KTM this summer. The highlight was a 600 mile ride with buddies on adventure bikes through Montana and Idaho. The girls met us at the nightly stops in Salmon, Stanley, and McCloud Idaho with gear at motels so no real need to carry much on the bikes.

I was very pleased with the performance of the 500exc on the trip. 65 MPH speeds on the highway were surprisingly comfy. Once we hit the dirt it was C-Ya later... the bike is a beast! Soooo glad I didn't sell it. Dirt bikes (especially dual sport) remains my favorite goto toy.

Thanks to those who chimed in and encouraged us to keep the bikes!

I'll see if I can post some pics.... cumbersome on THH... yup... lazy too! I know....
