Wow Gary, so sorry for the loss of your friend.
Jeff hit the nail on the head about the helo, but they are only good when they can fly.

so the ambulances came from Baker, then transported him to Pahrump ?
I didn't look at the map, but I thought Pahrump was closer to the dunes than Baker is - why didn't they send the ambulance from Pahrump ?
