SUBJECT: RE: WEST MOJAVE ROUTE NETWORK PROJECT (WMRNP) AND DRAFT SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMEN

Dear Planning Team:

Please accept this comment letter on the West Mojave Route Network Project (WMRNP) and Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS).

I support Alternative 3 (preferred alternative) because it will provide meaningful OHV opportunities in the project area while ensuring resource protection.

I also appreciate the inclusion of dry or sand washes in subsequent project level travel management plans since 611 miles of motorized routes either parallel a wash or exist predominately in a wash. Washes are the backbone of the motorized route network in most, if not all, of the WEMO planning area.

Sincerely,

Jeff Stevenson,
