Thanks Brian.... no need to do that. This dealer has most of the popular guns available to shot at their range.

this is what I got for Jody for home protection while I was overseas. I wanted stopping power and something that was easy for her to use, point shoot and not have to think about rackin, safety or what not. Got her the 38 spec. model, oh yah, weights in at 13 ounces.

yup, sure can. There is a shooting range about a mile from where we camp, plus you can shoot anywhere away from campers.

We went back go the gun shop tonight and just got back

Loved the feel of the gun............. for someone who wants a concealed weapon, this fits the bill. Diana really liked it.

‪Smith & Wesson Model 642 Airweight Subcompact Revolver .38 Caliber‬.
This aluminum-framed 5 shot revolver weighs a mere 15 ounces with a barrel length less than 2 inches.

Just a thought or two here. Brian, if you were referring to me, back at post #18, it's not me that owns stock in Kimber's, but rather, that would be KXrider. He has a shitload of em.

Secondly, yaa that little S&W is sweet, but in a panic defense situation, once you've burned through the 6 rounds, and the asshole is still coming at you, what ya gonna do? Ask him to "Hold Please" while I reload? Personally, I'll take the double stack 10 rounds ANYTIME! It gives me 4 more opportunities to take the bastard down, and slamming a replacement loaded magazine can be done in a second, with some practice. Like Brian, I have a Colt Gold Cup 45 that has been heavily modded, that I will never get rid of.

At present, I am completing a new bolt action rifle build, and when it's completed, I'm gonna be looking at a semiauto 9mm purchase.
