Default Ford V10 Engine Sensor Fell Out Question

We're here in Parker AZ... and a couple of days ago Nick found a dangling sensor wire on my rig. I was going to put it on RV.Net, but it will not load. Looking for some of you Ford V10 MH owners to check in under your hoods and help me out.

This sensor wire originates from the wiring harness just behind the power steering fluid reservoir and has about 2 1/2 foot of plastic shielded wire up to the sensor. The plastic sensor has a threaded end.

Doe anyone know where this sensor gets screwed into in the engine or engine compartment?

Could you take a look at you rig and let me know? Thanks!

IRv2 guys think it is the outdoor temp. sensor. I'll bet that when they pulled my motor, they forgot to mount it where it belongs.... now I just need to find out where it gets mounted

Doesn't look like it's ever been screwed into anything, find hole white pin pushes into.

That looks like a intake air temperature sensor or posably outside air temperature sensor. Look for a hole along in the air intake system

Good advise, my first thought was an iat sensor but threads on sensor don't appear to have been screwed into anything. Would definitely check air intake first :)

Who else do you know that has the same chassis? Have a look in that area on their chassis.
