Anyway, I've got a story for the EXACT spot this picture was taken: http://www.jeep.com/en/jeep-capabilities/trail-rated/

This is the beginning of the Rubicon trail from the West end near Loon lake. Barbara and I were hiking along, me drinking a beer, when we stumbled upon a guy with a brand new yellow and black 4 door Rubicon. Because we were hiking, and my beer was gone, I asked him if he could throw it in his recycle garbage (he appeared to be alone). I was assuming that he'd just completed the Rubicon heading from East to West.

It became quite clear that he was not in the best of moods. When I asked him if everything was OK, he just put his head down and shook it. "No, look at the other side of my Jeep," he said. OMG.... when Barbara and I looked at the opposite side the whole side was caved in and the glass was broken. One side looked brand new and the other appeared as though a locomotive hit it. It was drivable (all be it barely) but he was trying to muster up the courage to drive home and have his wife see what he had done to the two week old Jeep. She wasn't aware that he was out "playing" in it.

Anyway, he'd toppled it over in a sketchy section and some passers buy helped him right it with a winch..... I held on to the beer can.
You gotta pay to play... A lot of the flops I've seen online and in person are by extremely inexperienced people at the wheel but also spotting.

You'd be surprised what a rubicon on 35's will do with good spotting!
