Georgetown by Forest River

Been looking at a new rv. Has the perfect floor plan for us. Don't know much about them but it seemed like it had good upgrades. Any thoughts?

By the way, went to McMahon rv and looked at Thors. Liked the bunk bed floor plan but the storage was not good. Sales guys were dirty. Turned me over to the sales manager and then the GM. "What's it going to take to get you into the RV today" kind of crap. They kept saying a price and then said they couldnt get me that price. Crazy. Told them that Blarge used to get rv's as an impulse buy. But post-recession Brian is going to take a few weeks to pull the trigger. Followed me and the wife to the car still trying to get us to buy. Then I get home and realize the guy kept my drivers license. So I had go back today to get my license and they put the pressure on again. Losers. Went to Mike Thompson later and talked with a great sales guy, Jordan. Highly recommend him.

I NEVER let a salesman keep my dl - always tell them to photocopy and give me back the original (doesn't have the right address on it anyway). One started to argue until I was walking off the lot. There is no reason for them to have your dl and it is illegal for you to test drive with it in their possession.

I should have known better :) I wasn't thinking I'd get the car salesman treatment buying an rv.

Hey, Brian. I have two words for you: Buyer beware!

If you have the time and the inclination, go see Tom Lindstrom at Lindstrom RV in Moorpark. That's where we bought our Newmar Bay Star 2901. Great guy and got a great deal. (Tom used to work for Mike Thompson.) We love our coach, although you will probably need something a bit larger. I recommend Newmar or Tiffin for quality.
